MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
We encourage your organization to renew its membership to SRERA soon.  Membership renewal is expected regardless of whether an organization is awarding/has awarded a distinguished paper for the year.  Membership dues enable SRERA to continue our affiliation with AERA to participate in the AERA Annual Meetings, to be held in April 2024. SRERA membership renewal must be submitted electronically by December 18, 2023 and payment postmarked by December 22, 2023.  Dues are not refundable. Submit your renewal application at https://tinyurl.com/srera-membership.

DISTINGUISHED PAPERS
SRERA is pleased to also provide the call for the DISTINGUISHED PAPERS SESSIONS sponsored by the Consortium of State and Regional Research Associations (SRERA) as part of the AERA 2024 annual meeting.  The Distinguished Papers Sessions are a valuable benefit of your organization’s membership in SRERA and an important activity at the AERA Annual Meeting.  The sessions are unique in several ways.  They allow each qualified state and regional research association the opportunity to select one distinguished paper for international recognition at AERA.  The Distinguished Paper Sessions also give recognition to the quality of research presented at state/regional conferences.

For more information on a distinguished paper, please see our guide on advancing an SRERA distinguished paper. When your organization has selected a Distinguished Paper recipient, please complete or have the winner complete the form at this link:
https://tinyurl.com/srera-distinguishedpaper. This information is due December 29, 2023. When we receive this information, we will contact the primary author with additional instructions.

For further information contact Kymberly Harris, SRERA Vice-President for Annual Meeting/Program Chair (kharris@georgiasouthern.edu) with the subject line of “SRERA Distinguished Paper Inquiry”.
